At 99 years old, David Rockefeller, chairman and chief executive of Chase Manhattan Corporation, and the founder of Americas Society, of which Interlitq is a collaborating institution, chooses Fez in Morocco for a short holiday:

With regard to Dr. Jill DawsonAdvisory Consultant for Interlitq, and a contributor to Issue 3 of Interlitq, Angela Robertson, the organizer of Start your Novel for Creative Escapes, writes of the week in September 2013 that Jill spent teaching in Marrakesh:

“I have to say I was very impressed by how much you packed in and made people work during the lessons, while at the same time allowing them to have lots of time to write. You are also an excellent mentor and really made me think about how important that is to the course. You made everyone feel relaxed and comfortable enough to share their work, and very much inspired to continue. You are the perfect tutor for this kind of retreat – professional, nurturing and great fun to hang out with…. I really thought you were fantastic and I know everyone else agreed.”

And Rosie Nixon, participant, said simply: “Jill, you are awesome!”
