Daniel Shapiro, Director of Literature at the Americas Society (of which Interlitq is a collaborating institution) in New York, a contributor to Issue 11 and Issue 20 of Interlitq, and who will be a Consulting Editor for Interlitq with effect from Issue 21, writes:

Dear Friends,

For those of you in Manhattan this Friday (November 15) and interested, we hope to see you at our special launch of Review:  Literature and Arts of the Americas, no. 87 (Fall 2013; Mario Vargas Llosa’s Legacy/Andean Writing and Arts Today).  The launch will feature comments by guest editors Eugenio Chang-Rodríguez, Raquel Chang-Rodríguez and Edmundo Paz Soldán; and bilingual fiction readings by writers from Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru whose texts are featured in the issue, specifically, Liliana Colanzi, Rodrigo Hasbún, Esteban Mayorga, and Carlos Yushimito.  Copies of Review 87 will be available for sale.
