In an interview with the BBC (27.06.13), Marina Warner, the British author who is a Consulting Editor for Interlitqand who contributed prose to Issue 4 of Interlitq, finds a correlation (27.06.13) between Gothic cinema and the dark times in which we live: Marina Warner, writer and professor of literature at Essex University, suggested that “earlier movies were about an escape from these dark forces, or expelling them, overcoming them. But now there’s a kind of recognition, an embrace, an identification.”Lost-Boys-1
