Sari Nusseibeh, the Palestinian intellectual who is a Vice-President of Interlitq, has been cited in “What’s in a Name: Israel as a National State of the Jewish People” (Sarah Carlson, The International, 27.03.13): In an opinion article for international news source Aljazeera, Sari Nusseibeh, a professor of philosophy at Al Quads University maintains that, “the idea of a ‘Jewish State’ is logically and morally problematic because of its legal, religious, and historical implications.” Nusseibeh claims that if Israel is defined as a “Jewish State” then Palestinians do not have the right to be in the country.DIGITAL CAMERA
