In a recent video (January 24th, 2012) of the Lannan Readings and Talks Series at Georgetown University, Meena Alexander, a Distinguished Professor of English at Hunter College and The Graduate Center of The City University of New York, a recipient of awards from the Fulbright Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation and the National Endowment of the Humanities, a 2008 Fellow of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, a Consulting Editor for Interlitq and contributor to Issue 4 of Interlitq, gives a reading from her work, alongside Ishion Hutchinson and with an introduction by Carolyn Forché.
