Dame Gillian Beer, the distinguished literary critic who is a Consulting Editor of The International Literary Quarterly, and who contributed an example of her prose to Issue 5 of Interlitq, will be giving an address on “Darwin and the Descent of Woman” at a University of Cambridge Centre for Gender Studies event to be held in The Newton Room, The Pitt Building, Trumpington Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010, 5pm-6.30pm.
